Join Finola Finlay of Roaringwater Journal for a Guerrilla Botany walk through the streets of Bantry. Guerrilla Botany is a playful but purposeful practice — all you need is a curiosity about the natural world! We’ll identify and label the wildflowers and plants growing in the nooks, walls, and verges of the town, bringing them to the attention of passers-by and celebrating the remarkable botanical richness that thrives, largely unnoticed, in our everyday surroundings. Meet at the fountain in the square at 7pm.

Finola is passionate about wildflowers and writes the popular blog Roaringwater Journal which covers many aspects of the heritage, arts, history, landscape, archaeology  and biodiversity of West Cork: www.roaringwaterjournal.com
