Botanical Art Starter Pack

Shevaun Doherty is an award-winning Irish botanical artist and she is an excellent teacher who has developed a clear, concise way of introducing people to botanical art. For her workshops, including those she has run for the Ellen Hutchins Festival in Bantry, West Cork, Ireland, Shevaun puts together a great selection of paints and materials needed to start in botanical art. 

 

Seeing the quality of Shevaun’s workshop materials, the Ellen Hutchins Festival Team worked with Shevaun to develop the Botanical Art Starter Pack which allows you to start your own journey in botanical art wherever you are in the world. The Pack has everything you need – just add water, and of course, a flower, leaf or plant to paint! 

 

As Shevaun says “botanical art takes time and practice but it is a wonderful way to observe and appreciate the natural world.” 

 

The Pack is at present only available to buy here in the online shop. It is made up in small batches and is not always available. The stock level shows in the product information in the shop.

Since its launch in 2019 it has been posted worldwide. It was previously sold in Forest and Flock Irish Design and Craft Shop in Bantry, the National Gallery of Ireland in Dublin, and in the shop at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, London.
